There is an adjustment screw on the pump head that suggests you are able to alter the shutoff pressure, but i found that there is definitely a minimum shutoff pressure that is required. Even with the shutoff adjustment screw adjust all the way out (to the low pressure setting) the shutoff pressures I was measuring was still about 40 psi.
