Is the suburban sw6de RV water heater unuseable?
This water heater produces over 260 ppm of carbon monoxide and it’s now unuseable. Im off grid, working with solar power so 1440 watts is too much to run every time I need a shower. This company already has an entire list of water heaters that have been producing excess CO, and they have been recalled, but only in New Zealand!

The pex plumbing was evidently put in before the kitchen was completed. This along with other issues, EDPM roof {Had it], refrigerator {dead}, etc. and being a 2005 24′ trailer; Not putting any more money and labor on it! Advice- Think twice about these types of roofs.

What kind of customer service does suburban have?
Customer service with the water heater manufacture (Suburban)was also incredible as I had questions about the gas portion of the heater at higher altitudes and found out about a higher altitude orifice and how to install it. Also added a 140 degree thermostat to make the hot water go further.
Why did my Suburban RV water heater quit working?
Water heater worked perfectly for 3 weeks then the ignitor that creates a spark to ignite the flame quit working. Called suburban for help and they said you have to go to an authorized repair center. I told them i wouldnt be pulling my camper anywhere for help and i would just return it via Amazon and let them deal with it.
