Where is the fuse on a factory alarm?

A factory-installed alarm will have a fuse in the fuse box; pull the fuse to cut the circuit and shut down the alarm. Look for the fuse box on the left hand side of the steering column. Fuse boxes usually have a fuse diagram on the lid of the fuse box. Most alarm fuses have an alarm label on them.

The fuses are clear and don’t appear to be blown but we haven’t changed them. Sounds like a fuse may have blown as well as the battery running flat. Its common on certain panels that when the battery is run flat it blows a fuse usually the power fuse on the pcb, clearly not the battery fuse as placing a new battery on the system it powers up.
